LalBrew Pomona™ is a hybrid yeast strain specifically developed for brewing New England-style IPAs and other hop-forward beers.
It produces unique flavors of peach, citrus, and tropical fruits while enhancing hop character through high biotransformation potential. This yeast is ideal for homebrewers looking to create hazy, juicy IPAs with a balanced fruit and hop profile. Its strong nature allows for repitching, making it a versatile choice for multiple batches.
The strain’s ability to create stable haze and its quick fermentation properties make it an excellent option for homebrewers aiming to craft modern, fruity IPAs with complex flavor profiles.

Pomona Dosage
The dosage of LalBrew Pomona™ yeast is essential for achieving ideal fermentation results. For best performance, it is recommended to pitch at a rate of 50-100g per hectoliter of wort, which is equivalent to 1-2 million viable cells per milliliter.
This dosage range guarantees proper yeast cell count for efficient fermentation and the desired flavor profile. Brewers should adjust the pitch rate within this range based on their specific brewing conditions, wort gravity, and desired fermentation characteristics.
Brew Size | Dosage (grams) |
---|---|
23 Liters | 11.5 – 23 |
50 Liters | 25 – 50 |
70 Liters | 35 – 70 |
