- For a standard 23L batch, typical dosing would be 1.5-2.5ml when replacing 50% of your dry hop

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Test Batch (Recommended First Step)
Before using in a full batch, try this simple test:
- Add 0.065ml per liter of beer or carbonated water (or one drop per 475ml/pint)
- For a 330ml bottle, this means just a single small drop
- This will help you understand the impact on flavor and aroma
2. Full Batch Instructions
- Preparation
- Sanitize your measuring equipment
- Have your fermenter ready for cold crashing
- Bring Quantum Brite to room temperature if refrigerated
- Shake the bottle well before use
- Calculate your required amount based on the recipe’s dry hop quantity
- Measuring
- Using your syringe or pipette, measure out your desired amount
- Note: Product density is approximately 1.002 g/ml if measuring by weight
- Addition
- Add during cold crash when your beer is at its coldest (1-4°C)
- If possible, purge the headspace with CO2 to minimize oxygen exposure
- Add directly to your fermenter or keg
- Mixing
- The extract will disperse quickly but needs proper mixing
- If in a fermenter: recirculate if possible, or gently rock the fermenter several times
- If in a keg: roll the keg or use the CO2 to create movement in the beer
- Ensure thorough mixing for consistent results
Pro Tips
- Start with less than you think you need – you can always add more
- For best results, add during cold crash when beer is at its coldest
- Great in combination with traditional dry hopping
- Perfect for adjusting aroma just before packaging
- Can be used to rescue a beer that needs more hop aroma
